Convocation is now just days away.
Across the University, preparations have entered their final stage. Supplies have been gathered, lecture halls have been arranged, and the campus is ready to receive the incoming class of 2026.
For students, this is a time to make simple final checks, confirm travel plans, and look forward to the day ahead with confidence.
Everything is nearly in place.
A Few Final Reminders
Student arrival begins at 9:00 AM.
Classes will commence promptly at 10:00 AM.
Please allow sufficient time for parking, check-in, and settling into your seat before instruction begins. Arriving during the first hour helps ensure a smooth start for everyone.
The University will provide all necessary materials for the day’s activities. Students need only bring themselves, a readiness to participate, and a willingness to enjoy the experience.
The Campus Is Ready
Every table has been assigned.
Every seat has been prepared.
Every welcome packet has been assembled.
From the first greeting at the door to the final gathering in the Student Commons, the day has been carefully planned to ensure that every student feels comfortable, supported, and included.
This is not a test of perfection.
It is a celebration of participation.
One Seat Still Remains
The Office of Admissions reports that the incoming class is nearly complete. At this time, only one student seat remains available for the Spring Convocation.
If you know someone who has been considering enrollment, this is the final opportunity to join the class of 2026 before registration closes.
Once that final seat is filled, the roster will be finalized and preparations will continue with the confirmed class.
The University stands ready.
The halls are prepared.
And one final place remains at the table.
Looking Ahead
Our next Chronicle entry will be released on the eve of Convocation, offering a final welcome to the incoming class and confirming that all is ready for the day ahead.
Until then, preparations continue across the University.
Name cards are being placed.
Doors are being opened.
And the faculty looks forward to greeting each student in person.
